Actress (in Marie Antoinette) Edith Norma Shearer was born on August 10, 1902 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She said, “An adventure may be worn as a muddy spot or it may be worn as a proud insignia. It is the woman wearing it who makes it the one thing or the other." [So don’t be afraid to get a little dirty.]... Ms. Shearer died on June 12, 1983 in Woodland Hills, California.
