Historian John Dalberg Acton was born on January 10, 1834 in Naples, Italy. He said, “Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” [OK. It’s old. But it’s still true.]... Mr. Acton died on June 19, 1902 in Tegernsee, Germany.
