TV news anchor (on the Huntley-Brinkley Report) David McClure Brinkley was born on July 10, 1920 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He said, “People have the illusion that all over the world, all the time, all kinds of fantastic things are happening. When in fact, over most of the world, most of the time, nothing is happening." [Sounds like an elitist view to me.]... Mr. Brinkley died on June 11, 2003 in Houston, Texas.
