Author (of “The Singing Detective”) Dennis Christopher George Potter was born on May 17, 1935 in Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, UK. He said, “I did not fully understand the dread term 'terminal illness' until I saw Heathrow for myself." [Guess who's operating it? BAA.]... Mr. Potter died on June 7, 1994 in Ross-on-Wye, England.
