Bassist, singer, and songwriter (with The Who) John Alec Entwistle was born on October 9, 1944 in Chiswick, London, England. He said, “I ain't heard anyone play like I do in my band and I am very happy about that." [No hubris there.]... Mr. Entwistle died on June 27, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
