Author (of Children of the Sun) Maxim Gorky was born as Aleksey Maksimovich Peshkov on March 28, 1868 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russian Empire. He said, “When everything is easy, one quickly gets stupid." [It helps.]... Mr. Gorky died on June 18, 1936 in Moscow, USSR.
